Betty Jo Harney

Born August 3, 1934 in Putnam County, IN, the daughter of Halbert C. and Grace E. (Stewart) Snider.

Betty was a homemaker and a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank L. Harney; daughter, Mona Monnett; son, Jack Harney; sister, Irene Mosteller; and brothers, Bobbie, Wayne, Mickey, and Richard Snider.

Betty is survived by her children, Terry Harney, Janice Wehr, Nancy (Manfred) Stanfield, Lori Allen, Julie Jimenez, and Margaret (David) Shaner; brothers, Bernard (Dorothy) Snider, Halbert (Linda) Snider Jr., Jim (Gwen) Snider, Bill Snider, and Larry "Rex" (Linda) Snider; 18 grandchildren; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, August 3, 2023 at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Martin Cemetery Ferndale, IN.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 AM on Thursday until time of service.
