Darcella was born in Lebanon, Indiana on July 16, 1947, the daughter of Darwin Leon and Betty (Gilbreath) Linton, and was a 1965 graduate of Thorntown High School.
Mrs. Branagin owned and operated Branagin Oil Company for 25 years, and Mr. B’s Amoco for 8 years. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed playing cards. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and supported her children at many sporting activities.
Survivors include her four children, Jerry Branagin, (Karen), David Branagin, Brian Branagin, (Ellie), and Randy Branagin; a brother, Harold Linton, (Mary); a sister, Sharon McLaughlin, (Mike); seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 54 years, Gary Branagin; and four brothers Carl, Lee, Bob, and Byron Linton.
Private family services will be held at a later date; burial will be in
Forest Hill Cemetery.
