Donald Thurman Kiger

Donald Thurman “Don” Kiger, 92, of Greencastle, passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2018. He was born October 11, 1926 in Indianapolis, IN, the son of Allen Thurman and Elsie Mae (Sears) Kiger. Don owned and operated Kiger Enterprises for several years. He was a lifetime member and past Exalted Ruler of the Elks Lodge #1077, Greencastle and a member of the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ. He is survived by his children, Connie (husband, Mike) Bourne, Jerry (wife, Debbie) Kiger, and Kathy (husband, John) VonTress; four grandchildren, Jackie, Jessica, Jordan, and Erika; and three great grandchildren, Liam, Katie, and Jack. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mabel (Curtis) Kiger; a brother, and two sisters. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at the Forest Hill Cemetery with interment to follow.
