Frances Juanita Callahan

Frances “Fran” Juanita Callahan, 87, of Greencastle, formerly of Cloverdale, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2019. She was born October 2, 1931 in Pensacola, FL, the daughter of Charles David and Augustus Juanita (Christmas) Benton and was a graduate of Pensacola High School. Fran was a homemaker and attended St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. She is survived by her children, Michael (Diana) Callahan, Katie (Kenny) Cooper, James (Barb) Callahan, and Patricia (Randy) Pittman; a brother, James Benton; eight grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Callahan; son, Thomas Callahan; her parents; and a brother, Charles Benton. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at the Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Forest Hill Cemetery.
