Guy Junior Evans

Born February 5, 1937 in Spencer, he was the son of Guy Albie and Frances M. (Galimore) Evans and was a graduate of Spencer High School “Class of 1955”. He married Marjorie (Ewbank) Evans on March 9, 1957 and she survives.

Guy retired from IBM, where he had worked as a press operator. After his retirement he worked at FB Distro. He was a member of Brick Chapel United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Marjorie; children, Ronda Mumford, Keith (Kathy) Evans, Sandi (Chris) Wilson, and Ernie Evans; three sisters, Hazel Christy, Kathleen Gregson, and Nina Pless; a brother, James (Karen) Evans; three grandchildren, James M. Evans, Katherine Mumford; and John Mumford; a great granddaughter, Lilliana Evans; several nieces, nephews, and brother and sister in-laws.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Darcy Evans.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home. Interment will follow at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Bowling Green, IN.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, November 27th at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home.
