Born January 2, 1934 in Coatesville, he was the son of Leonard “Pete” C. and Dorothy (Bierman) Walton.
Jim had been a tow motor operator with Diamond Chain and worked with Comphrensive Services in Greencastle.
He is survived by his daughters, Debbi (Roy) Patterson and DeAnna (James) Cook; grandchildren, Miranda Leonard & fiancé’ William Tucker, Marcus Walton & companion, Ally Kirschbaum, Briana Jackson, and Baylee Thompson; great grandchildren, Peyton Allen, Raegan Leonard, Lilly Jackson, Kinsley Kirschbaum, and Savannah Couch.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Vera J. (Jellison) Walton.
Private family services will be held. Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
