Jeffrey Earl Alspaugh

Jeffrey E. Alspaugh, 61, of Indianapolis, formerly of Greencastle, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2020. Born March 17, 1959 in Greencastle, the son of William B. and Mary Belle (Johnston) Alspaugh and was a graduate of Greencastle High School “Class of 1977”. Jeff was a supervisor at IAC in Greencastle for over 30 years. He is survived by his wife, Brenda E. (Patterson) Alspaugh; children, Heather (David) Albrecht, Kayla (Stephen) Cramer, and Austin (Emily) Alspaugh; a sister, Judy (Duane) Overshiner; grandchildren, Andrew, Joel, and Nick Albrecht; step daughters, Amanda Kennedy, Kristina (Marcus) Bullock, Kimberly Hickey (Wes England) and Alisha Hickey; and a step granddaughter, Ivy England; three nephews, Ryan (Carrie) Overshiner, Dustin (Stephanie) Overshiner, and David (Heidi) Alspaugh; and several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Roger Alspaugh and infant Stephan Rae Alspaugh. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Forest Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until time of service. Memorial contributions may be made in Jeff’s memory to the American Cancer Society.
