John T Scobee

Born August 7, 1957 in Greencastle, he was the son of Estal and Doris (Thomas) Scobee. He was a graduate of South Putnam High School “Class of 1975”.

John was a foreman at Great Dane Trailers in Brazil, having been an employee for 34 years. John had served four years in the United States Air Force and was a member of the Sherwood Christian Church...

Survivors include his mother, Doris; a brother, Devon Scobee; partner, Diana Scobee; stepchildren, Gina (Rick) Cutliff and Stephanie (J.D.) Horst; 3 step grandchildren, Kelsea, Lillian, and Chloe; a step great grandson, Carson; several cousins and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his Father.

A Memorial service will be held at 3:30 pm on Sunday, January 19, 2014 at the Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Staggers officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to services on Sunday at the funeral home.
