John Edward Tesmer

John was born in Ohio, on February 27, 1952, the son of Theodore and Ruth Elizabeth (Lutz) Tesmer, and was a graduate of Greencastle High School.

Mr. Tesmer attended the Bainbridge Christian Church. He worked as an office manager for many years with PQC. John volunteered his time with Gleaners, as well as, helped the Two Fish Food Pantry at Bainbridge Christian Church.

Survivors include his two daughters, Shonda Brewer, (husband-Michael), Mooresville, Kim Curran, (husband-Scott), Coatesville; two sisters, Judy Foster, (husband-Charles), Mission, Kansas and Mary Tesmer, Greencastle; six granddaughters, Madison and Morgan Brewer, and Cayman, Opry, Josie, and Pippa Curran; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Noah Brewer, three brothers, Ted, Jerry, and Dan Tesmer; and two sisters, Barbara Williams, and June Weed.

A celebration of life will be held 12:00 Noon on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Bainbridge Christian Church with Tim Tesmer officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 9:00 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the church. A burial will take place in Boone-Hutcheson Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. after the service Saturday.
