Juanita Joan Austin

Born May 25, 1932, in Coatesville, IN, she was the daughter of Harry Clifford and Anna Belle (Walton) Morgan. She was a graduate of New Winchester High School “Class of 1950”.

Juanita was a homemaker. She had also worked at the Putnam County courthouse, Taylor Graphics, and Down Beat Records. She was a member of Greencastle Presbyterian Church & choir and the Order of Eastern Star. Juanita had also served as a volunteer at the Putnam County Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands Keith Greenlee and Richard Austin; sister Marjorie Wingler; and stepson Edward Austin.

Juanita is survived by her children Marcia (John) Jones, David (Vicki) Greenlee, and Ronald (Deborah) Greenlee; stepdaughter Judith (Darrell) Gibson; grandchildren Morgan (Loren) Snyder, Clarie (Matt) Fuqua, Ashlee Greenlee, Jesse (Stefanie) Greenlee, Justin Jones, and Nick Jones, step granddaughter Amy (Spencer) Burke; seven great grandchildren and four step great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 29, 2026, at the Brick Chapel Cemetery. A Celebration of Life with refreshments will follow at the Greencastle Presbyterian Church 653 S. Co. Rd. 100 E. Greencastle, IN. Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Juanita to the Greencastle Presbyterian Church or the Alzheimer’s Association.
