
Kathleen, known to many as "Grandma Kay", was born In Clay County to George L. And Nina (Reed) White.
In 1951, She married her husband Robert E. Vance, they resided in the Chicago area, where they both worked for over forty years. I'm 1988, they returned to Greencastle where they spent the remainder of their lives enjoying their family.
Kathleen will be remembered for; the way she took pride in dressing everyday, her cooking, her endless shopping trips, and the love she had for sharing her life stories of Chicago.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her beloved daughter Nancy Lee Miller Paris, three sisters Eileen Davis, Roseanne Lawrence, and Isabelle Reddish. As well as her two brothers, Delbert and John White, and her grandson in law JD Mackey.
Surviving are her 5 grandchildren; Misha (Rick) Romandine, Jerry Joe (Lori) Miller, Lori (Chuck) Pingelton, Sue (William) Warren, all of Greencastle, Diana Mackey of Brazil, 16 great grandchildren, 32 great great grandchildren, and 3 great great great grandchildren; Brielle Rose and Kingston Ferguson (children of Shelby Romandine) and Sophia Joan (child of Dylan Romandine).
Kathleen was a remarkable lady, and she will be missed by many.
There will be a private graveside service for Kathleens family Friday at 1pm located at at the Forest Hill cemetary in Greencastle.
