Keith Smiley

Born January 28, 1945 in Greencastle, he was the son of Charles and Geraldine (York) Smiley.

Keith worked several years with the State Highway Department as a truck driver and inspector. He was a member of the Indiana National Guard for over 27 years. Keith loved animals, especially his dog, Spice and his cat, Charlie.

Survivors include his wife, Roberta Smiley; daughters, Marla (David) Fields and Angela Smiley; his mother, Geraldine Smiley; sisters, Shirley (Clifford) King, Brenda (Lonnie) Keeney, Darlene (Robert) Bell; brothers, Richard (Sandy) Smiley and Harold Smiley; sister-in-law, Ilene Smiley; several grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his Father; a brother, Clifford Smiley, stepson, Robert Phipp; and a grandson.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, April 7, 2014 at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home. Interment with military rites will follow at the Forest Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am on Monday until time of service at funeral home.
