Born June 24, 1956, in Hillsdale, Michigan, she was the daughter of Kenneth and Beverly (Davis) Hart.
Kim was a bookkeeper for Black Lumber in Greencastle for several years. She had previously worked at Yale New Haven Hospital and Kline Biology Tower as a secretary. She also served as a volunteer at the Greencastle Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Kim is survived by her husband Dan J. Rizner; daughters Angela (Luke) Frydenger and Amanda Rizner; brother Jeffrey; sister Lynette; and grandchildren William and Meda.
A private ceremony for Kim will be held by family and friends. Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
