Born April 3, 1940, in Chicago, IL the daughter of O. Faye (Leahey) O’Connor-Phillips.
Margot owned and operated Groomingdales in Greencastle for 25 years. She was a 50-year member of the Collie Club of America and a member of the Peace Lutheran Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Hugh MacCracken.
Margot is survived by her children Warren (Rachel) Hanssen, Claudia Zybak & Jeff Kelson, and Suzanne Travelstead; sister Charlene (Leo) McCauley; stepchildren, Valerie “Chris” Dipert and Hugh K. (Ellen) MacCracken; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home is assisting with the arrangements.
