Born October 13, 1942, in Greencastle, she was the daughter of Clarence Isaac and Lillian Lee. She was a graduate of Greencastle High School.
Mary had owned and operated a housecleaning business and worked several years at the Walmart Store in Greencastle. She had previously worked at Mallorys and Asbury Towers. She was a member of Grace Tabernacle Church, Greencastle.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Eddie Dean; siblings Clarence, Tim, David, and Frances.
Mary is survived by her children Mike (Tammy) Dean, Maurice (Rachelle) Dean, Melissa Dean, Greg Dean, and Eddy (Amanda) Dean; sisters Eunice Lee and Marie (Melvin) Oatman, brother James Lee; grandchildren, Brandon Dean, Derek Dean, Christian Dean, Keegan Dean, Kayla Cherry, Marlana Jackson, Dante Jackson, and Kingston Dean; and six great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at the Forest Hill Cemetery. Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
