Pamela Sue Patterson

Born November 20, 1949 in Greencastle, she was the daughter of Guy Estel and Maggie Bell (Higgins) Parrish. She was a graduate of Greencastle High School “Class of 1968”. She married Jerry Patterson on December 8, 1973 and they have a daughter, Amanda Lynn Freeman.

She was a member of God’s Way Full Gospel Church.

Pamela had worked Angwell Curtain Factory, Greencastle Manufacturing, and Happico.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry and daughter, Amanda; two brothers, Gene (Betty) Parrish and Jimmy (Millie) Parrish; three sisters, Peggy Wright, Becky Burchett, and Debby (Ernie) Phillips; four step brothers, Gary Lear, Doug Parrish, Randy (Joanie) Parrish, and Tim (Jamie) Parrish; several nieces and nephews; and brother-in-law, Larry (Sara) Patterson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Maggie Bell and Guy Parrish; a brother, Larry Estel Parrish and a sister, Esther Marie Venis.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home with Pastor Ernie Phillips officiating. Interment will follow at the Forest Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until time of service on Thursday at the funeral home.
