Phillip Richard Mobley

Phillip Richard Mobley, 88, of Roachdale, formerly of Indianapolis, passed away on Friday, December 28, 2018 surrounded by family. He was born November 19, 1930 in Indianapolis, IN, the son of Everett and Lilly (Beyl) Mobley. He had served and was a veteran of the United States Army. Phillip had retired from the Carrier Corporation, where he had worked for several years. He was a member of the Charity Baptist Church in Indianapolis. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and loved his family, neighbors, and church family. He is survived by his son, Kevin (wife, Terry) Mobley; three grandchildren, Phillip Mobley, Kayla Mobley Rhodes, and Kristen Freund; four great grandchildren, Marin, Marley, Molly, and Cole; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Beatrice Mobley; a daughter, Kimberly Freund; granddaughters, Katie and Ashley Freund; and eight siblings. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 5, 2018 at the Charity Baptist Church 3470 N. High School Road, Indianapolis, IN. with Rev. Leo Mejai officiating.
