Ronald H. Costin

He was born on October 8, 1972 in Greencastle to DeWayne A. Costin and Beverly J. Costin.

Ron was a graduate of South Putnam High School and was a long time employee of Lone Star Industries which is now Buzzi Unicem.

He loved to farm and hunt. Ron was a member of the Indiana and National Angus Associations, and was active in 4-H along with his three children.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Harold and Dorothy Surber.

Surviving are his parents, Beverly J. Costin of Greencastle and DeWayne A. Costin and wife Micky of Greencastle; three children, Katie Costin, Lizzy Costin and Dylan Costin all of Greencastle; paternal grandparents, Noble and Lois Costin of Greencastle; a brother, Andy Costin and wife Lisa of Wentzville, MO; a step-brother, Gerry Singleton and wife Carla of Bozeman, MT; a step-sister, Charity Singleton of Indianapolis; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 21, 2012 at 11 A.M. at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, with Rev. Alan Small officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 20, 2012 from 4 to 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
