Russell was born in Greencastle, on December 15, 1956, the son of Russell and Hallie (Kent) Sanders, and was a graduate of Greencastle High School.
Mr. Sanders worked for 7 years with Morris Manufacturing in Brazil, and for 19 years with IAC in Greencastle. He was a Charter Member of Fraternal Order of Eagles 4388.
Survivors include his wife of 13 years, Diane Sanders; a son Paul Sanders; a daughter, Callie Walker, (husband-Cory); a sister Lila Etter; two brothers, Larry Sanders, and Fred Sanders; three step-children; three grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog Snuggles who was his buddy.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Mary Grossman.
At his request there will be no visitation.
