Sharon Sheldon

Sharon Lavon Sheldon, 79, of Greencastle passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2020, at Hickory Creek at Sunset. Sharon was born in Greencastle on November 09, 1940, the daughter of Aaron and Laura (McDonald) York. Mrs. Sheldon enjoyed crocheting and crossword puzzles, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. Survivors include two sons, Hershel Sheldon, (wife-Melanie), and Stephen Sheldon, (wife-Melissa); a sister, Barbara Black; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 49 years, Jerry Sheldon; five brothers; and two sisters. The family will have a memorial service at a later date.
