Born January 28, 1952, in Bainbridge, the daughter of Paul Hedge and Vera (Watson) Hedge Bell. Sylvia attended Bainbridge High School and was a member of the first graduating class of North Putnam High School.
Sylvia had retired from Walmart where she had worked in the bakery, service desk, and as a personal manager. She had previously been the activity director at The Waters of Greencastle, worked at McDonalds, and Old National Bank.
She was preceded in death by her parent.
Sylvia is survived by her husband, Michael S. “Mike” Dunkin; brother, Doug Hedge and partner Wanda; nephew Greg Hedge and wife, Lynn, and several cousins.
Sylvia had requested cremation with no services to be held.
