

He is survived by his 3 children. Chris (Melanie) Fancher, Janna (Steve) Kissel and Shane (Michelle) Fancher. Grandchildren, Kelly (Shane) Screnock, Meredith (Josh Ferry) Hargis, Jill (Samuel Edge) Fancher, Theodore Kissel, Daniel (Heather) Kissel , Kaitlyn (Micah) Layne, Aaron (Ema) Fancher, and Emily (Nick Correll) Fancher.
Great-grandchildren Nicolas (Hailey) Screnock, Olivia Screnock, Luke, Colin and Reid Hargis, Ambrose, Logan and Iris Kissel, Henry, Miles and Jack Fancher. Great-great grandson, Miller Screnock.
Nephews, Nicholas (Becky)Fancher and Nathan (Eileen) Fancher.
Ted was born in Indianapolis but grew up in Muncie. He graduated in 1953 from Royerton High School.
He lettered in football, basketball and track. He worked as a Ball State campus policeman, then started Keystone Construction and Keystone Hardware. He served in the Indiana National Guard and was a member of the Moose, Elks and Eagles lodges. He was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and enjoyed building, and pouring concrete. Ted also enjoyed his dogs, camping, fishing, mowing, golf and his kids. His favorite travels were to Canada for fishing and the Cayman Islands.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Richard and his sister in law Patty,
He was loved by all his family, and will be missed. May he rest in peace.
There will not be a viewing or funeral. There will be a celebration of life for friends and family 12/27/25 at The Docs Inn 126 E Washington Street in Greencastle IN 46135 from 1:00 to 5:00
