Alma B. Morris

A Graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, May 6, 2011 at Lakeview Memorial Park.

Bernice was born in Keeling, VA, daughter of the late Luke and Mary Ann Henderson Bohannon. She was a civilian employee of the US Army during WWII in Idaho where she packed parachutes for the 101st Airborne. After moving to Greensboro she worked for Greensboro Manufacturing as a supervisor in the sewing department for over 35 years.

Mrs. Morris was preceded in death by her husband, James K. Morris, Sr.

She is survived by her son, James Keith Morris, Jr. and wife Cynthia; granddaughter, Alison Morris Francis and husband Jason; grandson, Scott Keith Morris and wife Jordan; great grandsons, Logan, Evan and Landon; and sister, Nadine Slayton of Keeling, VA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Greensboro, 2500 Summit Ave, Greensboro, NC 27405.

Hanes Lineberry N. Elm Chapel is assisting the Morris family.
