

A celebration of Sharon’s life will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 28, 2017, at Pennybyrn at Maryfield Chapel.
Sharon is the author of View from an Apple Tree; A Memoir of Courage. She was Vice president of the Writers Group of the Triad in the mid 1990’s and had a number of publications. She worked for the Mayor of North East, Md. for two years and later at Carolina Steel in Greensboro as assistant Cost Analyst. Sharon graduated from UNC-G in 1985, with a double major in History and English.
Sharon was faced with many challenges over the years but “she lived, lived, and lived and then she died and she gave her best.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Logan was preceded in death by her sister, Beverly Hitchcock. She is survived by her nieces, Aleshia Johnson, Felix Wright; nephews, Dane Hitchcock, Billy A. Johnson, III, great niece, Bailey Dukeman and goddaughter, Nicole Forshee.
A special thanks to her care givers, Wendy, Sam, June, Sharon, Paige, April, Janet and Ann.
