Betty Jo Brown

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Betty Brown, affectionately known as BJ, on March 8, 2025. BJ’s life was a testament to the power of love, kindness, and unwavering family devotion. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth and generosity that will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew her.

A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, BJ poured her heart into nurturing her loved ones. She was preceded in death by her parents, Naomi and Johnny Thomas; siblings Wesley, Robert, and Billy Jean Thomas; her son, Joshua Thomas; and her granddaughter, Naomi Rodriguez. This loss, while deeply felt, only serves to highlight the immeasurable love she shared with her family.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sister, Patricia Strickland; her daughter, Ashley Rodriguez; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Beyond her immediate family, BJ leaves behind a circle of close friends whose lives she touched profoundly. Among them, Michelle Page, and Amber Malone, will forever hold dear the memories of her unwavering friendship and support.

The void left by BJ's absence is immeasurable. Her loving spirit, her infectious laughter, and her boundless generosity will be deeply missed. We find comfort in the beautiful memories we shared and in the knowledge that her love will continue to shine brightly in our hearts.
