Beverly Phillips

Beverly was born in Greensboro on December, 29, 1916, the daughter of Dr. Charles R. Reaves and Virginia Seay Reaves. She married Charles Harry Phillips in 1939 and had a long marriage until his death in 1997.

In her younger years, she was active in church and community activities. She enjoyed her wide circle of lifelong friends of all ages. Her kindness and sincere interest in others will remain her legacy.

She is survived by her daughter, Page Parker of Greensboro; and her daughter Pam Winter and her husband Dennis of Mooresville. Her youngest daughter, Reaves P Geist, preceded her in death in 2010. Beverly also has eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

The family wishes to thank her many caregivers including Hospice of Greensboro that have assisted her.

In lieu of flowers any memorials should be sent to First Presbyterian Church, 611 N. Elm St., Greensboro, NC 27401.

Her memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 12, 2013, at the First Presbyterian Church Sanctuary., The interment will be private.
