Greensboro- Billie Stevenson Tucker, 82, died unexpectedly on February 28, 2015. Services to celebrate her life will be held at 3 PM, Monday, March 9 at Hanes-Lineberry N. Elm chapel with her nephew, Reverend Barry Lemmons officiating.
She is survived by her niece, Patricia Williams; grandchildren, Robert Tucker Jr., Stacy Roy, Danielle Tucker and Brent Tucker; great granddaughters, Jazmin Combs and Toni Tucker; and great grandson, Kevin Hazelwood. She is preceded in death by 3 sisters, one brother, husband, Clarence, and son, Wayne Tucker.
Billie was a member of North Side Baptist Church for many years and worked at Sears-Roebuck and Co. as a sales clerk for over 20 years. She will be remembered as a sweet, giving and talkative woman, a loyal mother and grandmother. She and Robert Jr. loved to travel the country together.
