

Former long-time resident of Kings Mountain, Bogdan A. Milewski, died on Monday, May 21 in Greensboro, NC. He was 64 years old. Bogdan was born in Leicester, England to Andrzej (Andrew) and Ewa Milewski. He moved to the United States in 1967 with his family.
Bogdan never let his chronic illness get in his way of living life to the fullest. He was always up for an adventure, and never let anything limit him. Bogdan enjoyed fishing, paintball, reading, cooking, video games, and watching the Steelers. Most of all, he loved laughing with friends and family.
Bogdan was a graduate of Ashbrook High School and received his associate’s degree from Robeson Technical College in carpentry. He worked as a cabinet maker, furniture restorer, and night manager of a convenience store.
Bogdan is survived by his parents, Andrzej and Ewa, and his siblings: Maciej (Helen) Milewski of Danbury, CT; Teresa (Rodney) Spence of San Andreas, CA; Lech (Hania) Milewski of DeSoto, KS; Halina Milewska of Greensboro, NC; Jolanta (Scott) Kellum of Winston-Salem, NC; Ela Milewska of Yonkers, NY; foster-sister Robin Mitchell of Knoxville, TN; and nieces and nephew—Karen, Aleksandra, Matthew, Kristina, and Katherine.
The funeral was held on May 24, 2018 at Holy Family Catholic Church, Clemmons, NC.
