

Bryan Vazquez-Cardoza, 21, of Browns Summit, North Carolina, passed away on April 20, 2026. Born on January 6, 2005, in Greensboro, North Carolina, Bryan brought joy and light to all who knew him throughout his life.
Bryan went to Southeast Guilford High School and went on to work for his father’s construction company. He was a dedicated worker who took pride in contributing to the family business. Beyond his career, Bryan’s life was filled with passion and love for the things that mattered most to him.
From a young age, Bryan had a deep love for soccer. His passion for the sport never waned; he played tirelessly from childhood until his final days. Whether on the field or off, Bryan’s energy and enthusiasm were infectious. He also loved dancing and spending time with friends and family, creating countless cherished memories. One of his favorite pastimes was cruising in his truck with music blasting—always happy and carefree.
Above all else, Bryan adored being with his son, whom he lovingly referred to as his twin. His role as a father brought him immense pride and joy. Those who knew Bryan remember him as funny, loving, caring, outgoing, strong, loyal, helpful—a fighter in every sense of the word—and someone who was deeply devoted to those he loved. He was not only a great father but also a wonderful son, grandson, brother, and friend.
Bryan is survived by his mother Maria Elvira Cardoza; his father Jose Juan Vasquez; his older sister Ivette Vazquez Cardoza; his younger brother John Jr Vazquez Cardoza; his little sisters Emely Cardoza and Alexa Vazquez; and his little brother Lalo Vazquez. He is also survived by his grandmother Maria Lopez. Bryan was predeceased by his grandfather Eduardo Vazquez Negrete.
Bryan’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him. May the joy he brought to others continue to inspire strength and comfort during this difficult time.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Thursday, April 23, at Hanes Lineberry North Elm Chapel, 515 North Elm Street, Greensboro. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 24 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 1414 Gorrell Street, Greensboro, followed by interment at Lakeview Memorial Park, 3600 North O'Henry Boulevard.
