Beautiful memories of a beautiful soul with be with us forever.

I just found out about the passing of Candice today.  I want you to know that I saw the fight in her.  She was a beautiful soul.  A beautiful soul that was tortured.  She brightened up my day when I knew she was in the office.  I loved her. She would hug me and leave an impression on me for days.  I so wanted to help her.  You are all such a wonderful family and the love you showed Candice was truly touching.  You were so committed to helping her.  But for whatever reason, she needed something that none of us could provide.  Only God could provide that for her.  I am so very sorry for your loss.  I will look forward to seeing that sweet gentle soul again one day! 

Holly what a beautiful tribute to Candice. I have always admired your family! You all have a special gift of love, authenticity, kindness...  I have wonderful memories of swim team and SSRC! I will always remember Candice’s beautiful smile! She was tiny but had the biggest heart and a great laugh! Lots of love and prayers for your family! Candice has touched so many people!

Holly your Biography of your beautiful sister Candice is perfect.  Remembering Candice brings Joy to our heart.  She was such a big part of our family’s lives as our daughter Katie and her were so close.  One of the things she would say that made us all laugh was my legs are ashey!  And then she would start laughing and so we all laughed.  That saying is still said in our house and it comes from Candice.  We love her.  We will always remember the good times.  We love you all! We will be there for the long haul and pray God showers you with peace, understanding, and love from God through the hands of others.  God be with you!

As I fondly look back on my grade school years and summers on the swim team, Candice was always there. She was always sweet and so very kind with the brightest smile. I’ll never forget how we would pass notes back and forth in class and how one year she would call me after school on our landline, every single day.  She always left me feeling better than I had. I’m so sorry for your profound loss. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. I send my love from Atlanta.
