Carol East was called home to be with the Lord and reunited with the love of her life, Charles East. A Celebration of her life will be held on Monday, 2:00 pm at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel, 6000 High Point Road, Greensboro, NC 27407. Burial will follow at Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm till service time.
Carol was born on June 13, 1947 in Roanoke, VA. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Johnny and Helen Corvin, her baby sister, June Bug and her husband, Charles East.
Carol is survived by her daughters, Chantel Akers and Tasha Perhala; son-in-laws, Rodney Akers and Eric Perhala; sisters, Delores Lancaster and Nonie Clinvelle, Her legacy will live on through her six grandchildren, Brandon Marshall, Kayla Perhala, Kelsey Perhala, Eric Perhala, Amber Crawford, Hunter Akers; great grandchildren, Gauge Marshall and Corrie Mason. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.
Carol will be remembered for her generosity, her kindness, her dedication, love and commitment to her family and friends.
