Carolyn Bateman Bateman Keeton

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, March 29, 2011, at Hanes-Lineberry N. Elm St. Chapel, with Rev. Jeff Morgan officiating.

Born in Danville, VA, to the late Harold and Helen Bateman, Mrs. Keeton was of the Baptist faith. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, who loved nothing more than being a Homemaker for her family. She was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband of 23 years, Louis William Keeton.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Melissa Carter of Greensboro, Krystal Brown of Greensboro, and Amy Torrellas of Florida; brother, Jerry Bateman of Reidsville; sisters, Lucinda Bridgers of Graham, Vikki Clinard of South Carolina, and Rosemarie Isaacson of Virginia; and her four adoring grandchildren, James Todd, Anna Brown, Corbin Brown, and Shianne Carter.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 pm Monday evening at the funeral home.
