Carroll Gene Schulte, 87, of Greensboro, North Carolina passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2025. Carroll was born on September 12, 1938, in Franklin, Missouri, son of the late Harry and Louise Bruening Schulte. He retired as a mechanic with National Pipe and Plastics of Colfax. Carroll was a quiet, reserved man who enjoyed working in his yard, fishing, reading and watching Westerns with Gunsmoke and Rifleman being some of his favorites. He enjoyed spending time with family and loved his dogs.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Betty Schulte, brother; Jimmy Schulte and sister’s Shirley Speckhals and Georgia Ann Schulte Rohlfing.
Carroll is survived by his three daughters Karen Staley of Cary, NC, Cindi Stinson of Trinity, NC and Vicki Weaver (Gary) of Madison, NC; son Larry Bailey of Greensboro, NC; brother Donnie Schulte, brother-in-law Lloyd Rohlfing; sister-in-law Gladys Schulte; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be held Monday, December 8, 2025, at 11:00 am, Hanes-Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel, 6000 West Gate City Blvd.,Greensboro, NC 27407. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
