She was born on November 15, 1933 in Cannelton, WVA, the daughter of Harry W. and Estella Moss Whittington. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend. She will be deeply missed.
Catherine is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Harry J. Stone of the home; children, Cathy Lynn Stophel and husband Randy of Ruffin, NC, Harry Fredrick “Freddy” Stone of Huddleston, VA, Deborah Jean Brown and husband Everette of Tallmadge, OH; sisters, Mary Ann Haynes of Norton, VA and Laura Louise Spangler of Titusville, FL; brother, Richard Eligha Whittington of Cannelton, WVA.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, March 21, 2:00 p.m. at Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel.
