Charles ""Doug"" Douglas Swiggett

Charles "Doug" Swiggett passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, July 15, 2021. Doug was born and raised in the Pomona area of Greensboro where he lived his entire life. Doug was a veteran of the Army National Guard, and a machinist retiring from AT&T/Western Electric in the early nineties.

Doug was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Betty Mullinax Swiggett, and his ten brothers and sisters. He is survived by his three children and their spouses; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

The family is asking, in lieu of cards or flowers, please make a donation to the Alzheimer's Association or your local Hospice.

Family and friends will gather to remember Doug on Thursday, July 22ndnd, 2:00 pm at Guilford Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel. Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel is assisting the Swiggett family.
