Miss Christine Suits, born August 14, 1915 in Guilford County, died Wednesday August 21, 2013 at the age of 98. After retiring from Burlington Industries, Christine worked with the Guilford County School System at the Millis Road Elementary School in Jamestown. Christine was a lifelong member of Hinshaw United Methodist Church.
Christine was preceded in death by her parents John Adam and Minnie Burney Suits; two sisters, Beulah Fruitt, Louise Orr and one brother, Henry Allen Suits Sr.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel conducted by the Reverend Donna Smith. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until service time.
