

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Hanes-Lineberry North Elm St. Chapel. Entombment will follow the funeral service at Lakeview Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, December 20, 2016 from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Following the committal service at the cemetery, the family will receive friends at the home of Chrystal’s brother, Dudley, 332 Archergate Rd., Brown Summit, NC 27214.
Chrystal was born July 28, 1964 in Guilford County to the late J. T. and Jeannette Alverson and was of the Baptist faith. She graduated from Page High School and managed Master Kleen for over 20 years. Chrystal enjoyed gardening, attending her daughter’s sporting events, was a huge follower of dirt racing, asphalt racing, (as many family members participated in the sport of racing), was an avid reader, loved all kinds of crafts, such as cross-stitching and quilting. Chrystal was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend who was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her ex-mother-in-law, Evelyn “Tootie” Williams.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Bethany Stovall Bumgarner and her son-in-law Gary of Mocksville; grandson, Brantley Bumgarner, also of Mocksville; sister, Pat Bryant of Greensboro; brother, Thomas Dudley Alverson and his wife Wanda of Brown Summit; her special friend, Larry Joyner and his son, Kristofor; her ex-husband, Johnny Stovall and his wife Teresa (who was very close to Chrystal), niece, Jessica Beville and her husband Rodney of Reidsville; nephew, Justin Alverson of Brown Summit; great-nephews, Averett and Gage Beville of Reidsville, and Kendan Alverson of Brown Summit; her special cousin, Anglia Daniel of Wilmington; and close friend “Momma” Jean Nelson of Madison; her dear friend, “sissy”, Kennie Wright and her children, Lydia and Nick Wright of Eden; two aunts and many cousins.
