

Clara Corine Evans Tuttle went home to be with her Lord & Savior on March 4, 2020, surrounded by her loving family. She was a Loving Wife, Mother, Grams to two Grandsons, and Gramzie to four Great Grandchildren. She was born on February 28, 1922 in Atlanta, GA. She graduated from Andrew Jackson High School in Miami, FL. After graduation, she worked in the Tea Room at Burdines Department Store. She met her husband Jack at a USO dance and after 10 dates and 5 months they were married and were together for 56 years until he passed in 1999. After her husband Jack’s discharge from the Navy, they resided in Greensboro, NC and were in fellowship at Shannon Hills Bible Chapel. She worked at Burlington Industries and Southern Life Insurance Co. until their move to Orlando, FL in1967. They were in fellowship at Hiawassa Bible Chapel. In 1970 she received her LPN certificate and worked as a private duty Licensed Practical Nurse and retired in 1985. In 2010 she moved to Green Cove Springs, FL and attended Harbor Baptist Church until her passing in 2020.
She was predeceased by her husband, Jack B. Tuttle, her daughter, Judy Elaine Tuttle, her brothers John A. Evans and Harold Evans (Addie).
She is survived by her daughter Janice E. Coble (Richard), Grandsons Richard Jr. and Ryan Allen (Stacie). She is also survived by 4 Great Grandchildren, Trey, Rylie, Liam and Brynlie, Nephew Neal Evans (Janet) and Niece Ann Marie Evans.
We will miss Mom’s wit, laughter, humor and poems and most of all her prayers.
Thanks to the Nurses and CNA’s at the nursing facility and a special thanks to the Vitas Hospice Team for their wonderful care of our Mom.
