

Colton “Reed” Little, age 27, a resident of Charlotte, NC, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, March 18, 2026. Reed was born in Greensboro, NC, on October 29, 1998, to Chuck and Tammy Little. Reed graduated from Wesleyan Christian Academy in 2017.
He obtained an associate’s degree and had returned to pursue a bachelor’s degree, anticipating graduating this year. Work was a family affair for Reed. He was an Insurance Technical Assistant with CRC Group, where his mother is a Senior Broker.
Reed was a shining light in the lives of all who knew him. His warmth, kindness, and friendly nature left a lasting impression on family, friends, and his community. Reed’s joyful spirit was evident in every smile, every laugh, and every thoughtful gesture he shared.
Reed attended JUMC and was active in the youth group, where his favorite memories were the mission trips and serving others. His faith was an important part of his life. He attended a weekly men’s Bible study group, finding strength and guidance in fellowship and scripture.
One of Reed’s cherished traditions was the Christmas ski trips he shared with his brother. These trips were more than just a holiday—they were a celebration of their brotherly bond and solidified that they were each other’s best friend.
Reed’s passions included pickleball, fishing, golf, and reading. Music was another passion for Reed. He enjoyed attending concerts, reveling in the energy and excitement.
Reed’s legacy is one of adventure, faith, joy, and love. He lived life with a caring heart and a vibrant spirit, touching everyone he met. Reed will be remembered for his generous nature, his devotion to family and friends, and his zest for life.
Reed was preceded in death by his father, Charles “Chuck” Robert Little; his grandparents (Bobbi and Jessie Little and Lee Epps); and his uncle, Jerry Epps.
Reed is survived by his mother, Tammy Epps Little, and his brother, Christian Robert Little. He is also survived by his grandmother, Jean Epps, and a tribe of aunts, uncles, and cousins, whom he loved dearly and who made holidays and beach trips a joyous time.
A Celebration of Life service will be held 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Jamestown United Methodist Church, officiated by Pastor David Greene. Following the service, the family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall.
