Craig James Whittaker

Craig was born in Peekskill, NY on May 27, 1959 to Jean and Robert Whittaker. He was awarded his B.A. from the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam, NY, followed by a Master’s degree from Northern Illinois University and a Doctorate from the University of Arizona. He married Jinny Novine on August 22, 1981.

Craig was founder, owner and CEO of Environmental Solutions Group for 14 years. The company has received many prestigious awards for exceptional service throughout the country.

Craig was also a gifted saxophonist and music professor. Throughout his career, he performed extensively throughout the country and abroad and served on the music faculties at UNCG, Guilford College and Elon University. Most recently, he performed as a member of the Camel City Jazz Orchestra.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Jinny Novine Whittaker; two children, Chelsea Whittaker and Daniel Whittaker; mother, Jean Whittaker; brother, Robert Whittaker; and sister, Wendy Velotti.
