Born on August 21, 1963, in Bluefield, WV, David was a devoted husband, son, father, and grandfather. He spent 35 years in the doors and frame industry, most recently a Project Manager for Beeson Hardware.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Trisha Chilco; his parents, Ronald and Heidi Chilco; and his three sons: Andrew Chilco and his wife Marina, Jakob Chilco and his wife Amanda, and Matthew Chilco and his wife Emily. David also leaves behind three cherished grandchildren: Bryson, Adaline, and Maya Chilco.
David found great joy in spending time with his family. He especially treasured moments shared with his grandchildren and watching his boys play sports when they attended Eastern Randolph High School and Providence Grove High School. He loved golf and was a passionate fan of Cowboys football and NC State basketball, he enjoyed the camaraderie and relaxation these pastimes brought him.
A gathering of friends and loved ones to honor David's life will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Hanes-Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel, 6000 W Gate City Blvd., Greensboro, NC 27407.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Happy Hills Animal Foundation or a foundation of donors choice.
