

He was born to the late Willis Green Clark and Ollie Estelle Clark. He was preceded in death by his precious wife of 61 years, Gayle Shaw Clark, Also by three brothers, Charles Wade Clark (Peggy -deceased) , Paul Stephen Clark (Joann - deceased) of Brown Summit and Robert Luther Clark (Sylvia) of Cliffside. Two sisters, Helen Clark Dills of High Point and Diane Clark Self (Patrick) of Greensboro.
He is survived by his son, Kevin Douglas Clark (Sheila), and daughter, Karen Clark Cole (Tim) of Greensboro. Grandchildren, Doug Clark (Lauren), Chad Clark (Katie), Nolan Miller (Christina), Drew Clark (Leah) and Sydney Clark. Five great grandchildren, Isabel Clark, Lily Clark, Paisley Clark, Colt Clark and Lizzy Miller. Surviving sisters, Frances Bullard (Bob) of Brown Summit and Doris Bullock (Ronald) of Missouri, and a brother, Larry Clark (Bonnie) of Stokesdale.
David attended Reedy Fork Baptist Church in Brown Summit. He served as a Deacon, sang in the choir and taught RA's. David loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. His green thumb was evidenced by all the delicious vegetables out of his garden. He retired after 35 years of service from Black and Decker. David leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion of Jesus. He loved sharing with family, friends and others. He loved time with all his grandchildren and great grandchildren. His sweet spirit will truly be missed by all who knew him.

A celebration of David's Life will be Saturday, January 10th at 11:00 at Hanes Lineberry North Elm Chapel with visitation an hour prior. Officiating the service will be his grandson, Doug Clark. A graveside service will immediately follow at Lakeview Memorial Park, 3600 N O.Henry Blvd, Greensboro, NC 27405
