Doris Eanes Price

Doris Eanes Price, 85, was born on August 20, 1933 in Rockingham County, North Carolina to the late Thomas Joseph Eanes and Lula Mae Burgess Eanes. On November 5, 2018, at her home surrounded by her family, she left her earthly home to take her place with her loved ones that have passed on and to be with our Savior.

She was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Floyd Jackson Price on November 12, 1949. Doris was a loving mother, sister, nanny, relative and friend to many. In addition to her parents, Doris is preceded in death by her sisters, Christine Booker and Bobbie Ann Kelley. She is survived by her 3 children, daughter Patricia Gail Dagenhart and husband Danny Pierce, son Ronnie Dale Price, daughter Pamela Price Bailey and husband Robert Bailey, along with her sisters Betty Jo Carnwright and Mary Lou Pegram. She is also survived by her grandchildren Kimberly Dagenhart and husband Lindy, Jerry Dagenhart and wife April, Charlene Autwell and husband Bryan, Tiffany Price, Brandon Bailey and Zachary Bailey. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. She was a lover of music, bingo, cooking, dancing and all people and never turned anyone away. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and were blessed to share her life.

A funeral service will be held at the chapel of Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services, 1900 Vanstory Street, Greensboro NC at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 8, 2018. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services.
