Dorothy Meta (Schuppel) Meyer, 95, of Greensboro, NC passed away on Aug 9, 2024. Dorothy was born on July 5, 1929 in Washington, NJ to Richard Albert and Meta (Roscher) Schuppel. The family later moved to a dairy farm in Walton, NY. After she graduated from high school, she worked for a tie manufacturer in NJ. She married Herman B. Meyer on Jan 7, 1950 in Hackensack NJ.
She was a member of the First Reformed Church of Hackensack, NJ.
She was a devoted daughter, wife and mother. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, knitting, playing games and gardening. Most of all she liked to laugh.
She was predeceased by her husband Herman, her brothers Werner and Heinz Schuppel. She is survived by her children Gary, Glen and Gale, son-in-law Jeff, cousin Walter, a grandchild and 2 great grandchildren, a nephew and niece.
