Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Vanstory Chapel. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park.
Mrs. Siler was a member of Glenwood Presbyterian Church. She was a graduate of St. Leo’s School of Nursing. She worked as a nurse at Greensboro Polio Hospital and was retired from Moses Cone Hospital with a total of 44 years of service. Mrs. Siler was preceded in death by a son, Guy W. Siler, III, brothers; Clifton Odell West, John Gilbert West, father, John Herman West, and mother, Emily Marie Riggs West.
Mrs. Siler is survived by her husband of 65 years, Guy W. Siler, son, Joseph Siler both of the home, brother, Robert Lee West and wife, Mary West of Chesapeake, VA, daughter-in-law, Susan Siler of Tenn., grandchildren; Joseph Thompson Siler, II, Justin Cody Siler, Jennifer Siler and Morgan Wayne Siler and great-grandson, Joseph (Trey) Thompson Siler, III.
Memorial contributions may be made to Glenwood Presbyterian Church, The Billy Graham Crusade, In Touch Ministries or to RBC Ministries (Our Daily Bread).
The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
