Edith Lambert Oliver

Edith Lambert Oliver a resident of High Point passed away at her residence on Friday, February 22, 2019. She was born September 1, 1937 in Dillon County, SC, the daughter of the late Willie Ollie and Beady D. Turner Lambert. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Maggie Lambert, Clara Belle L. Irvin, Willow Mae L. Dew and her brothers, Coke Lambert, Wilton Lambert, Paul Lambert, Billy Lambert and Legrand Lambert.

Edith worked for 27 years as the secretary of Bales Memorial Wesleyan Church.

She is survived by her husband, William “Bill” Oliver of the home; daughters, Billie O. Davidson and husband Robert of Greensboro, Debora O. Hudson and husband Chris of High Point; son, Tommy Oliver and wife Denise of High Point; grandchildren, Kevin Phillips, Brandon Phillips, Robert Davidson, III, Sydney Harris and husband Chase, Davis Hudson, Jason Oliver, Jami Rogers and husband Reverend Kevin Rogers, Justin Oliver and great grandchildren, Tyler Phillips, Mekayla Phillips, Chloe Rogers, Jake Rogers, Owen Rogers, Autumn Rogers and Eliana Rogers.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel conducted by the Reverend Kevin Rogers. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until service time
