Elizabeth "Speedy" Michaux Suitts

Elizabeth Michaux (Speedy) Suitts, 98, of Greensboro, died Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at her home.

A graveside service will be held Monday, 11:00 a.m., at Forest Lawn Cemetery by Rev. Bart Friddle.

Speedy was born February 7, 1916 in Summerfield, the daughter of William Hamilton Michaux and Olivia Boggs Michaux.

She worked in the hosiery division at Burlington Industries and retired from Wesley Long Hospital. Speedy was a member of Saint Paul’s United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, Speedy was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Leonard Suitts as well as eight sisters and six brothers.

Surviving are her daughter, Judy Suitts Parham (Richard) of Greensboro; grandchildren, Kathy Parham Hudgins (Michael) and Bradley Richard Parham (Jennifer); great grandchildren, Sara Katelynn Hudgins, Morgan Elizabeth Hudgins and Abrianna Grace Parham.

Friends will be received Sunday, 4:00-6:00 p.m., at Hanes-Lineberry N. Elm Chapel.
