Esther Judy Ferguson Earnheart

A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Hanes Lineberry Funeral Home North Elm Chapel, 515 North Elm Street, Greensboro, NC 27401

Judy (Esther Amelia Ferguson) was born in Liberal Kansas, and was the daughter of George (Roy) and Winifred (Ellen) Warner Ferguson. She married Robert (Bob) Earnheart May 22, 1948. Judy and Bob spent their early years in Kansas City Kansas, and Iowa City Iowa and raised three children: Bruce,

Joyce Lynn, and Roger. The family moved to Greensboro NC in 1968. Judy was a devoted mom, and wife, and was extremely active and involved with her church family, and community. She was a founding member of Trinity Church, and later attended Flat Rock United Methodist Church in Stokesdale NC. Her greatest love outside of the home was in women's ministry. Judy spent over 50 years, and held various leadership positions with Stone Croft Ministries International and the Christian Women's Club Organization. Judy was passionately involved in serving, leading, and growing the Christian Women's Club Organization through five decades of service. She was instrumental in starting many new Christian Women's Club Chapters, & bible study groups throughout the southeast, and was a frequent speaker at local and national conferences.

Judy will be remembered by her strong Christian Faith, her incredible hospitality and loving spirit, her beautiful smile, contagious laugh, positive attitude and congenial magnetic personality. She was a loyal friend and touched many women's lives through her personal ministry. She was exceptionally talented and handy around the house, garden, and kitchen. Her cooking, sewing, and knitting skills were legendary to all who knew her.

Judy was preceded in death by her husband of (54) years, Robert E. Earnheart, their daughter, Joyce (Lynn) Herron, Her sister Edith Ferguson Petty, and brothers Frank, and Basil Ferguson.

Judy is survived by two sons: Bruce W. Earnheart, of Dayton OH, Roger D. Earnheart of Tampa FL, and his wife Kim Conklin Earnheart of Tampa FL, son-in-law John Herron, of Thomasville NC, brother Don Ferguson of Salem Oregon, sister Vera Fitzgerald Ferguson of Umatilla Oregon, and four

grandchildren: Joel Herron of Los Angeles CA, Spencer Herron, US Army Ft Carson CO, Morgan Earnheart of Jacksonville NC, and Kelsey Earnheart of Orlando, FL.
