There will be a graveside service today, Monday, October 3 at 12:00 noon at Greensboro Hebrew Cemetery on High Point Road in Greensboro.
Born in Mauldin, MA, raised in Brooklyn, NY, Evelyn came to Greensboro with her husband, Joseph, in 1949 where they have lived for over 62 years raising their three children and becoming vibrant and respected members of the community.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Joseph, their 3 children and their spouses, 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Evelyn was very active in the Jewish community and gave of her time in the Sisterhood, Torah Fund, Hadassah and the Blumenthal Jewish Home as well Beth David synagogue. She was a beloved wife and devoted mother as well as a loyal and enduring friend.
