

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Lakeview Memorial Park, with Pastor Todd Crum officiating.
Frances was born August 11, 1947 in Greensboro to the late Russell and Katherine Walker. She attended Stephen’s Memorial Church and retired from Olympic Products after 32 years of employment. Frances was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend who always put the needs of others before her own. She was a wonderful cook, enjoyed working in her gardens, spending time at the beach, but most of all, spending time with her family. Frances was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 46 years, Ronald Hardy; daughters, Wendy Hardy and Rhonda Johnson, both of Greensboro; step-son, Dennis Holliday of Kernersville; sisters, Marjorie Nelson and husband William of Greensboro and Mary Ann Zavala and husband Jim of Texas; brothers, Gary Walker and wife Cynthia of Summerfield and Ronald Walker of Greensboro; grandchildren, Amanda Hardy, Ashley Johnson, and Christopher “Todd” Johnson; great-grandchildren, Cheyenne and Kameron; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm this evening, Friday, July 10, 2015 at Hanes-Lineberry N. Elm St. Chapel.
